- Your rights, explained
01Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how DigiLifto, a sole proprietorship registered in India (GSTIN: 07CMMPN0346Q1ZF), with its principal place of business at 808B, DLF Prime Tower, Pocket F, Okhla Industrial Estate, Okhla Phase I, New Delhi, Delhi 110020 ("DigiLifto", "we", "us" or "our") handles personal data.
It applies to digilifto.in (the "Website"), to enquiries you send us, to calls you book with us, and to the personal data we handle while providing our services. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act"), DigiLifto is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here, unless we tell you otherwise.
02Personal data we collect
We collect only what we need for the purposes described in this policy.
Data you give us
- Enquiry form: your name, work email, company or brand, and optionally your phone number, app or website link, current rating, the services and platforms you're interested in, and your message.
- Booking a call: your name, email, the time you choose and any notes you add when booking through our scheduling provider.
- Emails and calls: anything you choose to share when you email us at business@digilifto.in or hiring@digilifto.in, or speak with us.
- Job applications: your CV and any details you send to hiring@digilifto.in.
Data collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and referring pages, collected through server logs and the third-party services the Website loads (see "Cookies and third-party services").
Data we handle for clients
- When we provide services, we may access publicly available reviews, ratings, comments and posts, and any data a client chooses to share with us, such as store-console reports. We handle this only to deliver the agreed services and under our agreement with that client.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
03How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry, schedule and hold calls, and prepare proposals.
- To provide, manage and report on the services we've agreed with clients.
- To consider job applications.
- To keep the Website secure, prevent spam and misuse, and fix problems.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Website is used so we can improve it.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal data, and we don't use it for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
04Why we're allowed to use it
We process personal data on the basis of your consent — for example, when you tick the consent box on our enquiry form — or for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as data you voluntarily provide for a specific purpose, and compliance with law.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. Withdrawal doesn't affect processing that happened before it.
05Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need:
- Form delivery: our enquiry form is delivered to our inbox through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co).
- Scheduling: calls are booked through Calendly.
- Email and hosting: the providers that host our Website and email.
- Website services: Google Fonts, Google Maps (on our About page), and an open-source icon library served through jsDelivr.
- Professional advisers and authorities: our accountants, lawyers and auditors, and government or regulatory authorities where required by law.
Some of these providers may store or process data outside India. Where that happens, we rely on transfers permitted under applicable Indian law.
06Cookies and third-party services
The Website itself is designed to work without marketing cookies. However, some of the third-party services it loads — such as the Calendly booking calendar and Google Maps — may set their own cookies or receive your IP address when they load. These services are governed by their own privacy policies.
If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we'll update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some embedded features, like the booking calendar, may not work if you do.
07How long we keep it
- Enquiries: for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together.
- Client records: for the duration of the engagement and as long as needed afterwards for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
- Job applications: for up to 12 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
08How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to the people who need it, and trusted service providers — to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we'll respond and notify affected people and authorities as required by law.
09Your rights
Subject to the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Ask us to correct, complete or update inaccurate data.
- Ask us to erase your data, where we no longer need it or you withdraw consent.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
- Raise a grievance with us, and if it isn't resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
To exercise any of these rights, email business@digilifto.in with the subject "Privacy request". We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
